I just don't get it. Why would a woman dye her hair blond? Brunettes and Redheads look great too. Why not be yourself.

I'm blond and dye my hair brown.
As long as it's not a bleach blond or a yellow blond, which is SO tacky. |

Why would a person who dyes their hair necessarily have self esteem issues?
Maybe they just do it for fun.

I dyed my hair peroxide blonde in college. It was not to boost my self-esteem, I can tell you that.

I like having blond hair, so I dye my hair blond.

Yea that's a pretty big generalization lol
o Some people just like the look of blond hair. Same reason anyone else dyes their hair |

I guess anyone who changes their looks has enough self-esteem issues to want to look better a different way, but then one has to wonder if wearing lipstick
indicates self-esteem issues.

I think I look better with some highlights in my hair but I wouldn't go so far as to think I have self esteem issues. Sure I want to look nice, but
honestly I think my self esteem would be more of a concern if I didn't do anything at all to make myself look pretty. Because I think I'd have to feel
pretty bad about myself to not care enough to try.

i wouldn't say esteem issues, but possibly issues with seeking a different kind of attention.

Blondes dye their hair brown. Do they have self esteem issues?

I imagine people who dye their hair blonde and look terrible with it have some kinds of issues.

No...maybe they just don't like brown hair.

Not self-esteem issues, but apparently we're all doing it to look younger, subconsciously. I read a whole study on it one time. That's why we get
breast implants, too.

I'm a light-skinned black woman, and for a while I rocked a very, very short, white-blond cut. It looked great, and I did it for fun.

So having blond hair gives you self esteem? I have natural blond hair and no self esteem.

I recently dyed my hair dark brown again, but I died my hair blond because I'm very pale and the dark color (my natural) washes me out really bad (goth
like). The maintenance is annoying though--so I quit.
