Plenty of big ass stars have non-celeb significant others and it works wonderfully: Denzel, Ozzy, Grey's Anatomy chick, Billy Ray Cyrus (hehe), Tiger, Oprah, Dr.Phil, Bernie Mac, Eric Snow, and there are tons more. Half of those people you named are nowhere near the status that Justin is (and athletes don't really count). Do you date only people you work with or that work in your industry? Justin goes to clubs, sports events, and other places (the grocery store!) where he could meet regular people. It's not like he lives in a hollywood bubble.Well, I married the guy I met in college so the question doesn't really work for me.
I have nothing against Justin dating a regular girl, I was simply saying that it seems like most celebs date other celebs or at least people who are in the business. |

I said HALF those people. Billy Ray, Grey's Anatomy chick and Dr. Phil? Please. And athletes don't count because football players, golfers, basketball players don't really have a famous female counterpart to go after. AND athletes often marry their high school/college sweethearts. It's not really a fair comparison, I don't think. |

I kind of feel for celebrities in the 'do i date a celebrity or a non celebrity' thing. On the one hand, a regular person might keep their feet on the
ground and be a welcome reality check, but on the other they could be more in love with the name than the person. With another celebrity, you get somebody who
understands the business you're in and the pressures of it... but then they might just be using your ass to boost their own career.
