YEAH! Fuck Bank of America! I HATE them with a passion.

In September we went and closed our accounts (checking and savings) with them and went to a local credit union and have been much happier there. When we closed the account they gave us paperwork and took our debit cards.

In Feb. we got a statement from them that $5 was in our checking account and they had taken money out for fees for the low amount in there (there was originally $12 at some point). So we go back this Sat. to RE-close the account and the guy was like, well if someone had put money in up to a week after you closed it that's why it didn't close.

Half.com had deposited $12 on Dec, 1st. We closed our account on Sept. 13th. He had that information right there on his screen! He knew it had been more than a week! & he copped an attitude with us about it. I was like FUCK YOU! You guys just never closed our checking you fucks, even after you gave us the money we had in there and took our cards. Because the only thing still linked to our BoA account was half.com (I just forgot to switch). BoA should have bounced the money back to half.com and then half.com could have contacted me to find out what's up.

So we go up to the teller to get our money that was in there and the teller gives us shit about it too. So yeah. Fuck BoA. This shitty re-opening shit was AFTER they also opened a credit card in my name without my permission! I was able to get it taken off my credit report though, cause I don't want credit cards.
