I found this old magazine from my old days, lol. The article is really good fun to read (only it is in Turkish) and it is mainly about Interview With The Vampire Blue Jean, February 1995 This is again from a Turkish newspaper. I'll translate it word by word The famous couple weren't left alone (or shall I say' buggered' )
Hollywood's popular couple Brad & Angelina was at a boxing match in Las Vegas the other day, in MGM Hotel. The couple who entered the hall before the game started faced a big crowd of fans and a lot of people took photos of Brad and Angelina

Friday, February 27, 2009 For a moment, try to look past the various tattoos, the somewhat handsome fellow on her arm and the 65-carat emerald ring on her index finger. Focus on what Angelina Jolie carried in her palm on Oscar night: A little piece of the Palm Beaches. Jolie's black silk clutch - as understated as the actress' 115-carat earrings were oversized - was created for the Best Actress nominee by Palm Beach-based designer Lana J. Marks. "This is so huge for me," Marks said from Los Angeles earlier this week. "I am so excited because really, for me, Angelina Jolie is the most extraordinary person in Hollywood at the moment." And the fact that the humanitarian and mother of six rarely carries a handbag on the red carpet made the occasion even more special for Marks, who has boutiques on Worth Avenue, Rodeo Drive and several other chichi shopping streets around the world. "I did receive information beforehand that it was 100 percent definite," Marks said, "but I hold my breath until I see them walking on the red carpet." And there she was. Clutching a custom Lana Marks clutch in front of the Kodak Theatre, like Kate Winslet, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Aniston and Julie Christie before her. But not for long! The Oscar attendees carry their clutches for 24 hours, but then they're returned to Lana Marks, to take up permanent residence in the company's archives. |

February 27, 2009 -- THE Oscar knockoffs are coming. Just days after Kate Winslet, Sarah Jessica Parker and Angelina Jolie dazzled the Academy Awards audience with their glittery gowns worth thousands, fashion house Faviana is working furiously on cheap copies to be in stores by April. A replica of Winslet's gray, silk-satin number by Yves St. Laurent will go for $318; a look-alike of Parker's poofy ball gown by Dior will sell for $358; and one of Jolie's Elie Saab black, strapless dress will sell for $278. The Original

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Cast: Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett
Direction: David Fincher
Rating: ****
Without a doubt, the seventh film by David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club, Zodiac) consolidates his reputation as a cutting edge director.
The film is packed with superb sequences such as the hotel rendezvous with a diplomat's wife (Tilda Swinton) or the cross-cutting between several chance events that lead to a nerve jolting accident in Paris. For comic relief, there are silent film-style inserts of a man struck by lightning on several occasions
Cast against type, Brad Pitt, who teams with director Fincher for the third time, erases his pretty boy charm for most part of the film's 165 minute-length.
Exquisitely-crafted, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a must-snatch for the discerning viewer.
