Do you get used to it after awhile? Cable here is $50/month for basic and there's only one service provider so I can't exactly compare prices. I'm
considering going without. A lot of shows I watch are online now anyway.

I don't have cable
 only about 6-7 basic channels.. it's really not so bad! I catch some mtv shows once a week on my best friends DVR, but otherwise
there's plenty to watch on basic TV during the week. The weekends are a different story though, there's nothing on!

I didn't have cable for a year before I moved and got a roommate. You do get used to it, and tv shows on the internet quickly become your friend.

My weakness is I love Nick at Nite and some cheesy reality shows on MTV, VH1, E! and TLC.

i don't have cable at my apt. we're just now getting internet next week. i don't know how we lived. but with internet we don't really need
cable cuz i watch most of my shows online anyways

I don't have cable at my apartment at school and it's fine, plus my friend and I go to our friends' apartment if we want to watch a show
But
yeah, you get used to it easily.

I don't. It's been a lot more tolerable now that we have the converter boxes. I went from 2 channels to 10.

My school cable doesn't have Bravo or Disney but that's not exactly not having cable...so... yeah. And I can imagine getting use to it.

My boyfriend doesn't. But he doesnt watch much tv anyways. But we will be getting it once we move into our house.

I don't. I kind of miss it, but in the end, I don't watch that much tv. During weekends, I watch TLC and Food Network at my bf's house. I watch
MTV stuff online.. (real world, only)
