I have it from my dry, itchy scalp, so I got Neutragena T Gel and used it this morning. The flaking is worse! Its so embarassing I put my hair in a headband.
WTf?

Maybe you just have to give it some time. Honestly, dandruff shampoo doesn't really do much more for me than regular shampoo. Yes, I realize how unhelpful
I'm being.
Make sure you use a good conditioner and keep your hair moisturized, though. |

I do, but I don't put conditioner on my scalp-my hair would be completely flat all day. Its still itchy and I used the anti itch shampoo!

it's going to take more than one day to see any real difference

But its worse today, that's what I'm concerned about. Sucks having my natural dark haircolor back, because a year ago I was bleach blonde and never saw
the flakes lol.

I'll try that, thanks sham. I've tried Nature's Gate tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner and it didn't really help

but when you put the conditioner on, leave it on for a few minutes and really massage it into your scalp.

My scalp is really dry too (well my skin all over gets pretty dry) and I've been using head & shoulders intensive treatment (it's in the dark blue
bottle) and I've noticed a difference..but it takes some time. It didn't do much in the beg., but now it is much better.

I have terrible dandruff. I've never noticed a difference when I've used regular dandruff shampoos, but there is one called Nizoral Anti-Dandruff
Shampoo that works fabulous. If you use it for a few days in a row then once a week from there on out, you'll see a major difference. You can get it at
Walgreens or CVS or any drug store. It's by the Head and Shoulders section and it's in a blue box. It's the best!

Yeah I use Nizoral and it gets rid of any itching or flaking that I have. I only need to use it once a month now.

EndlessNameless wrote: This exact same thing happened to me just yesterday! I have dry itchy scalp and I tried T-Gel and it was ten times worse afterwards. Plus, the stuff smelled awful too, and the smell didn't go away even after I washed my hair again the next day. I have heard Selsun Blue is good too? I am getting really tired of having an itchy scalp all the time. |

Ever since I moved to a warmer climate, my scalp has become dry and flaky. The only solution was to wash everyday.
