Nada. I didn't earn any income. Plus, my dad claims me as a dependent.

Around $20,000. I'm a little disappointed.

Most people don't earn $54,000 in a year. How does anyone get that much back?

The people giving those big numbers are either joking or very stupid to give the government thousands of dollars in interest-free loans every year.
And it's not free money from the government, it's your own money. |

Exactly - these people are making that up or are some of the biggest idiots I've ever heard of.

Not a hell of a lot. I get $147 back on my federal return, but then I have to send $201 to the state. Fuckers.

Between my boyfriend and I we got about $20,000. Mine was small because I've only had my "real" job since September. Having a house is nice!

The last migration wrote:What? Seriously? Most people don't earn $54k? I don't know how much I'm getting back this year, I've worked more than I ever have before so I should be getting more back. And what rebate checks are people talking about? I'll take one of those. |
