My mom has been going to school for that. I could be wrong, but I think it's something like when doctors see patients they write down in codes everything
(seriously every little thing) that they do then the people who do medical coding translate the codes and figure out what to bill the patients (and/or
insurance companies?) for. My mom's classes require a LOT of memorization.

I'm fairly sure you are too stupid for that job. Sorry.
they screw up peoples shit and charge them $200 for a consult, that's what they do! Hey, don't blame the coders/billers, we have nothing to do with how much a doctor charges for a consult! |

I've done that at work. We have a separate billing department (which I am not a part of lol), but sometimes they have me do some of the little stuff
because I've been there so long. I have soooo many diagnosis and procedure codes memorized and I'm familiar with a lot of the insurance stuff
(referrals, encounters, pre-certs, etc.). It's VERY VERY dry, boring work. I could never do it as my full-time job. I'm ready to check out after
dealing with it for a half hour.

I am pretty sure that it would not be a good idea to go to school for billing and coding, it seems like something thats easily replaced my computer automated
systems.

The snotty bitch in th DRs office who can't come to the counter to help you because her shit on her desk is more important than the patient...thats the
medical code billing person. You do paperwork all day. At least if you're a secretary you can talk on the phone.

the one I was bitching about the other day. It came today. He/She/It sent it in a regular paper envelope. It's scratched up, he said it was a 10 on body.
He lied. He said it came with everything in the original box, which includes a xd picture card, usb cable, ect... and he sent nothing but a plain camera. The
auction also said it came with olympia rechargable batteries. It has family dollar brand batteries in it.
WTF? And ebay isn't letting me leave negative feedback! |
