Did you introduce yourself to them when you first moved in? (Or did they come over and introduce themselves?)

I talk to them in the elevator sometimes. We can see directly into our neighbors kitchen window, so sometimes we wave at eachother when we're both standing
at the sink.

I know some of them. The women, mostly. The woman across the hall has lived there forever, and her granddaughter (who grew up there) moved back in and just had
a baby, so we've been talking a lot. There's a couple on the third floor who used to live next door to us who have a little boy, so we know them, too.
There are like 10 kids under 5 in our building!

No I don't like minorities. My mom sucks and is poor and didn't move to the suburbs in the 80s when they first started moving in. I hate her so much.

We interact with one side. We both have decks and we visit so much that we just have a gate between the two decks now to make it easier to go over

No. One of our neighbors brought Christmas cookies over and when I answered the door and she gave them to me, I was like, are you my neighbor?
I felt really bad.

I moved into my boyfriend's apartment building where he hates all the neighbors so they think he's a giant asshole. I try to be polite. I had a lovely
chat with one lady he particularly dislikes last night in the laundry room! She's batshit crazy but.. nice! It is a really shitty low income building with
some really shady characters, but that's no reason not to be polite to them.

I know one of my next door neighbors and his wife. They're really nice people. Our other next door neighbors are Buddhist and I have to practically yell at
them just for them to wave or acknowledge me. Their kids are nice though.
The neighbors directly across the street are renters and I hate them for many reasons. |

Nope. I am not a neighbor person. I bet if you asked people up and down the street, only like, 2 of them would know I even exist.
