My friend wants to do it from 9 AM - 4 PM one day... it sounds like a good cause, but also exhausting! What sort of work did you do? Was it fun/rewarding?

I also do it once a year. It's fun! The family receiving the home usually helps out in some capacity, and it's always nice to get to know them.
I tend to help out with the gardening, setting up a lawn, etc. because I have experience with that. And painting! |

Pretty much everything they have you doing. As long as you can do it.
