SN will be renewed. It's just too early yet. Nothing has been renewed on the CW yet. The CW normally doesn't renew shows until May. If we're lucky maybe they will renew us early but don't hold your breath! |

Has ANY show really been renewed for next season yet? I know some have been canceled but I hadn't heard of renewals on any networks. Maybe I haven't
been paying attention.
 I know some SPN fans get their panties in a bunch early for stuff.

Yep...so panties in a bunch. I did kinda stop the other day and go...wow, we're already halfway through the season. Boo! And then it'll be like months
before the DVDs come out.

I wonder if he'd get wings.
I don't think I have a problem with Dean being an angel, but that means, Sammy would be the devil, so I'm not sure how the brotherly interaction would work. |

Hey, if Dean can become an angel maybe there's some redemption somewhere around for Sam, too. But that is, of course if he doesn't go completely evil
on us. I don't want him to! That'd be so not Sammy. I mean, I'm all for a little evil...especially if that means he needs to be shirtless or
something (and I don't mean with Ruby) but I need for core Sammy to still be there.

Ohhhh....JC. I could write a book about him and how he hasn't completely been screwed by things. But I digress, I honestly don't see the CW lasting as
a network for a really long time for some reason. I feel like they're gonna end up either with another merger or something or just not working out and
falling apart. It doesn't happen much but man, if they've been around for this long and are still considered the joke network, something ain't
right. At least Fox was able to rise above that.
Oh and random but your icon just made me think of this...did anyone else think that Teen Dean's girlfriend looked like young Mary?! |

He hasn't?! Come on, he totally got screwed by Jive when they didn't promote him at all, and that's exactly what's happening to
Supernatural!
Dean becoming an angel?! I totally saw that one coming! I had a feeling that he was a fallen angel like Anna or something. And I hate this idea! |

I wish the show could be flipped over to a different channel that would give it the respect that it deserves. I think it'd do pretty well on NBC. I
wouldn't trust Fox or ABC too much because they'd cancel it so fast, especially Fox.

Yeah, Jared said he doesn't know. I think that original big bolded quote is either made up or taken out of context. That's why I posted that other
article cause I saw it after that angel thing and was like "I KNEW they always said they barely know anything!"
Sha, I guess it's possible they could get picked up by another network. It happened with Scrubs! I almost think they'd just fare better on something like Sci-Fi even. Sci-Fi promotes the HELL out of their shows. |

Supernatural (The CW) STATUS: Staying The audiences are slightly smaller, but come on, The CW has no other show besides "Smallville" -- and that includes "90210" -- that gets the buzz "Supernatural" does. Hunky actors, strong stories, and loyal viewers all translate to what should be at least another year of life for this show. Of course, who knows what the future will bring. Networks have a way of throwing logic out the window sometimes, and even changing their mind. While this is a bit of a snapshot on where those executives are right now on these different shows, we're just a little more than halfway through the season, and a lot can happen.  I think people might be jumping the gun on renewals cause they're seeing so
many cancellations appearing for shows now.

I don't think that article is real/true (the first one) b/c I doubt Jared would give away something THAT "spoilerish" about this show. I think
he'd get smacked around by Kripke/the writers for opening his mouth about it so early on.

While I have no doubt the show will be renewed. I can't help but think of another "supernatural" show that was hitting it's stride
creatively, critically and even ratings wise that was canceled by the WB just the same.

shows that should have no issue getting renewed. I still hate them for getting rid of Everwood (although I like the way the show ended) I was really, really
REALLY pissed the fuck off that they kept 7th Heaven on and that right there was proof enough that this network is made up of a bunch of twits.

been going strong for like 20482054825 years so if that can make it, so can SPN.
