And my class has to start at 1:40
 They're updating everything again at noon and I'm crossing my fingers that they just cancel for the rest of the
day. We already have 5-7 inches and it's only 10:30!

SUNY New Paltz. And since it's a State school they don't close as easy as a Community or Private college. My friend sent me a text this morning saying
there was a snow day (she goes to SUNY Purchase) and I completely forgot she doesn't have class today so I thought they really cancelled classes.
Yea no, she just decided for herself it was a snowday

My school never cancels until partway through the day, so I always get stranded on campus.

THAT'S CRAZY!!
Technically a 19238091832 year senior If I had gone to school "correctly" I would have been out of OCCC in May of 06 but
I was out in Dec 06 and started New Paltz in Spring of 07...I took last semester off but I only need 17 credits to graduate. I'm spreading it out so
I'll (hopefully) be done this December.

We got a text at 5am in the morning from the university saying that classes won't start until 10:10 due to weather. And then at 10:03 (when a ton of people
have already arrived at their respective classes) they sent another text saying that classes were canceled for the rest of the day! I'm happy it's
canceled, it just sucked we all had to get up and get ready to go and whatnot. For us, all the roads and sidewalks are frozen! Literally, like a sheet of ice.
