I agree. If I was around someone who had an issue I'd try to stop them. Hell, Nick stopped drinking, he saw what it does, why didn't he try and help AJ last night?

Nick has not stopped drinking- he was never an alcoholic but he certainly knows how to put 'em back. That nonsense he spouted on ET Canada about being sober was the most ridiculous thing ever, considering that very night he was drinking. But I digress. Ultimately, it is not up to Nick, Brian, Howie, or anyone else to babysit AJ and make sure he is not drinking. That is AJ's responsibility and his alone. This is not the first time he has relapsed.

If anyone on this board has ever dealt with an alcoholic, or drug addict, you know that you simply cannot stop someone who is intent on hurting themselves through addiction. AJ would get to that bottle somehow.

Amanda was a long, long time ago. He met Sarah, oh, in the Black & Blue CD days? When he was right in the midst of his addiction. She was a piece of work herself. Wanna-be singer/actress/model. He did cheat on her during their engagement, and People magazine did an article on it, too. He left her in the end, thank goodness, and fans who ran her MS, Yahoo Group and other Sarah-dedicated sites later posted on various boards that they abandoned the cause, so to speak, as they realized with time that she is a complete lunatic, and is addicted to pain medication herself. It was a very toxic relationship in many ways.

LOL, are you serious? I haven't been a follower of BSB for a long time, but right before I completley left that fandom psychotic Sarah fans invaded my website (one that had little to do with BSB or Sarah) bashing me, my love for Amanda, and all my regular vistors just because I said their precious Sarah wasn't as perfect as they thought she was. How funny that they finally realized it themselves. I only wish I'd been able to see their downfall myself.

Oh I know, no one would even contemplate the notion that she had a lot of personal problems. For me, the moment I read that she accepted his marriage proposal (immediately after he left rehab) proved that she was more interested in protecting her own interests than AJ's. But yes, it was something to behold when the Sarah fans slowly dropped like flies, and posted stories of how nuts she is.

In fact, at some concert this year, I forget the city, she showed up, believe it or not, and tried to get backstage to see him and she was turned away by his bodyguards.
