i have had 2 already, and i've been searching and searching, they even know because i send them all the places i have sent my resume too. but the end of
the unemployment is nearing and i am freaking out. i have been on so many interview and have gotten no calls back, and when i call, they are already filled.
i'm getting scared that once it runs out i'm going to have nothing and i won't be able to pay my car insurance to get to jobs. :/

are you in Canada? So that means you have been unemployed for 3 years? I think the max you can get is a year right?

yes i live with my parents but i usually buy my own food, and i pay my car insurance and phone bill. i'm just really scared if i don't get another
extension that i will lose my car, and that's a huge thing in getting to a job i get. i am not in canada, and i have been collecting since may of last
year.

maybe you shouldnt be so picky about jobs that is an awfully long time to be on un-employment. If that means something with no benefits then oh well.

There are a lot of people working out there who need benefits but don't have them.

i'm not picky! and let alone, i have found numerous jobs that i've been interviewed with. idk what else to do if i don't get another extension.
i'll lose my car and have no way of getting around.

You can't use public transportation? Maybe you're not interviewing well. |

Is there anyone that you can practice your interview skills with? If you've been to lots of interviews with no call backs that might be your problem.

Get a part time job, and still look for a full time job while you are there MAKING SOME MONEY.

it's been 8 months. and most of the office places i went to liked it better if people had their own transportation. it looks better on my part.

She lives with her parents... which is better off than living on her own. What kind of jobs are your applying for? The ones that aren't hiring?

Get a part time job, and still look for a full time job while you are there MAKING SOME MONEY. This. You do not need another extension. It's beyond struggling at this point, and it's reached slacking. You can find something. |
