Except that's how it started out last time too, and days later progressed to 104 even with Tylenol in my system. So obviously I'm feeling negative, but seriously now. ENOUGH.
And I have the beginnings of a fever. Again.

This is getting really annoying. I got sick on December 31st (yayyy, New Years Eve!) and I was on antibiotics up until the other day. Yesterday I started
getting sneezy and sniffly, and now I have a small fever of 99.2.

that happens when you work around children. you'll build some resistance over time.

WOW, again?
That's not cool. I can't believe several weeks' worth of antibiotics didn't kill that shit.

I was going to suggest taking tylenol and going to bed, but I guess that doesn't work too well with you?

I've been there for a year now. I had been told by a nurse that a year would have me pretty resistant to most of the crap. So I'm waiting.
I'm just hoping it all goes away so I don't have to go back the doctor. They're going to want to take blood at this point and I do NOT do well with blood tests. |

That sucks! It's true that it'll take some time to build up your resistance. Kids are germ factories! Try eating some yogurt and cheese everyday. When
you take antibiotics, it kills everything, even the good stuff.

That's not a fever.

Yeah, I don't think the antibiotics got rid of everything. It got rid of the throat infection right away, but my ears still aren't right so who knows.
I have been eating yogurt every day because of those darn antibiotics. I'm incredibly sick of yogurt! |

LMAO No, I do not have baby fever. I do at times for about 2 seconds, but then I go into work and it goes away.
It's probably more common than people think. I know that when I see the ~average~ 98.6, I know I'm on my way to a fever. Ah, 101 isn't fun. For me, that's the freezing stage. Then I hit 102 and it's the sweating stage. I perfected this knowledge over the past few weeks. My family was amazed at my ability to predict my temperature before actually checking it. |

Yeah, I'm at the freezing stage. But when I put more clothes on, I begin to burn up. ergbldkjglkjdgnkljdfgndkjg.

Ugh, isn't that annoying? It might make you comfortable to bundle up and then put an icepack on your head. That'll bring your fever down as well.
Mostly your fault? How? |

dpyblnd wrote:Aw! That's no fun at all. I hope you feel better soon as well. Strep tests are evil, btw. I had to get two because I got one done at my doctor and then had to have one done by the doctor on the cruise who didn't believe me when I said I didn't have strep. Freakin' sucked. |
