Tomorrow Im having my gallbladder removed. I have never had surgery before, so Im just wondering what kind of things they do to prep you for surgery?

You will have to sign a bunch of release forms. They will prep you for surgery, and get an IV ready, and put you under. It will go well, so don't worry.
If you are really nervous, ask the nurse or Dr. for something for nerves and they can usually give you something in your IV for that. It helped me a lot last time I went in for outpatient surgery. |

Go over the procedure to be sure you understand, u sign a consent, they mark the area, take vitals, insert an IV, and thats about it.

This sounds weird, but I love being put to sleep. Apparently I have a high resistance to drugs (ha! since I've never done one), that they had to give me
twice as much Versed as usual for my weight since I was so chatty and not at all relaxed the last 2 times I had surgery.

Just don't eat the day before your surgery and expect a lot of pain when you wake up tomorrow from your surgery. The nurses will be around 24/7, so if you
need anything don't hesitate to ask them. Just be comfortable, relax and you'll do just fine.
