I'd rather not say the events surrounding it because it's something I'd like to not think about. But I was 11ish...almost 12. But, let's just
say I was at camp for three days.

The summer before 9th grade. It was the day after my 14th birthday. A bunch of girls slept over the night before for my birthday, and I woke up with my period.
Good thing it was like...barely anything.

I was 12. I totally freaked out about it. I yelled I'm bleeding and I don't know why. My mom told me that I got my period and she also told me how to
use pads. I used to get really bad cramps but now I don't get them as much.

went to the bathroom. There it was. My elementary school didn't have the pad/tampon dispenser so I did what I had to do to not continue my mess lol. I went
home 15 min later and went through my mom's stash. I didn't tell my mom until a month later when I got it again (she was wondering why I was so cranky
lol) and she screamed and hugged me and had my step dad buy me BSB tickets later that month haha

I can't remember my exact age but I'm know I was in the 8th grade when I first bleed. At first I didn't know what it was because it was dark brown
and it only happened one trip to the restroom so I didn't tell anyone. I never got another until highschool and to this day it only comes every 3 to 6
months. I always felt like a big weirdo because my mom would ask me if I started and I was like no because I didn't know if I had or not.

Did you even know what was going on? Yes, I did and I was not happy! I was at my grandma's house after my grandpa's funeral and bam there was the blood when I had to go to the bathroom. I had bad stomach aches about a week before though and I had no idea why. Regardless, were you freaked out? I was annoyed.
Was your mom a complete freak about it? All excited and telling everydamnbody?  Nope, I never told her lol and I still don't talk about it
with her at all.
