Why does he need weeks to think about whether he'll return to the NFL for another season or not? Didn't he spend much of last year thinking about this
very same thing? All the pros/cons are still the same. He's such a drama queen.

I think he just can't stand not to be the center of attention.

I hope he is thinking about how much better Chad Pennington is than him.

I'm so glad the Jets tanked at the end of the season.

I really used to like/admire him, but lord almighty, he needs to man up and grow a pair.

He should be thinking about an apology to Jets fans. He did wonders for the franchise financially but killed us with game play.
Who am I kidding...we had no chance anyway. |

I love Brett, but his constant whining/stalling on coming or going in the NFL is a turn off.

Probably because he doesn't want to go out on a low note like he did with the Jets collapsing at the end of the season.

lilacrose82 wrote:The problem is that Jets don't care about winning first and foremost -- they care about jersey sales and selling seats in the new stadium, with the PSLs as they are. It's not like they're the Giants and a fan could live two lifetimes and never get off the season ticket waiting list or even have a chance in the coming years to buy a PSL. They know the core of their fanbase by now will never leave them, no matter how embarrassing they are, and Favre, no matter how washed up he is or how much the media turns on him, is a draw to the crowd they have to market to to get what they additionally need right now. |

Favre:
"He said he's not going to bother me for three or four weeks,'' Favre said. "He told me to do whatever and he'd give me a call in a month. Maybe I will tell him my answer that day. But he told me to get away and don't even think about football.''Maybe? So selfish. |

The Jets are royally screwed if he doesn't return. Maybe they can get Matt Cassel?
