I got mine out last Monday (all four) and it was not bad at all! I've been eating normally since last Thursday.

mine didn't hurt at all. I had all 4 taken out. I'd do it again, they have some trippy drugs

I didn't think it was that bad at all. I went under then took meds and followed all the directions I was given afterwards.

Mine wasn't that bad, I missed a day of school. Slept through it.

they arent impacted so i guess thats good. i took 3 days off work and hopefully i feel better before the 3rd day so i can have a freebie!
i keep getting 2 way different opinions... its either the worst thing ever or it only took 6 hours to heal. im kinda worried. |

For me, it was so anticlimactic! I had no pain or swelling at all. I will tell you to be careful with the pain meds they give you, because most people I talk
to said they made them sick. Just try to sleep all day tomorrow, and then the worst should be over!
Good luck!

Mine didn't hurt too bad. Just make sure you put some ice on your face for about 20 mins on whatever side your getting them out, and do that a few times
for at least a day or two, maybe 3.
When taking the med's make sure you eat right before, that'll help you not get sick from them. That's what I did. I ate like applesauce for the first couple of days when taking them and then took the med's right after I finish to help with not getting sick. and make sure you rinse with salt water for a while after a week/close to two weeks. They'll probably tell you to do that anyway. |

Only use ice for the first 36 hours after your surgery. After that switch to warm compresses if you are feeling sore. And throw an old towel or something over
your pillow (elevated to help with swelling) for the first few nights because you tend to drool afterwards and you don't want to get any blood on your
pillowcase.

I bet it won't be quite as bad for you just because you're only having two teeth removed, not four.
Are they on the top or bottom? And are you
having them cut out or pulled?

If they aren't impacted, then it's usually pretty easy. It was no big deal at all for me.

I had all four removed and they had to slice them out since they were all partially under my gums and I had virtually no pain!
