Brad looked so so young and handsome during his "younger" stage I was shocked.

It was definitely the best film I've seen in YEARS and I'm super picky, yet unpretentious when it comes to film. This did not try hard at all and it
sucks that some ppl were disappointed with it. It's damn near perfect; the tie-in with Daisy on her death bed was annoying, but that's really the only
negative thing I can say about this film. This was such a epic love story, so heart-breaking and breathtaking. What an incredible vision Fincher/Roth brought
to life...geeze just some of the best cinematography I've ever seen. How GORGEOUS was Cate Blanchett?! I have never thought she was that pretty or a fan of
her acting before, but she totally got me on this. She was a total goddess. Daisy and Benjamin's relationship was just so PICTURE PERFECT. I was actually
jealous of Angie, but kinda wished Cate and Brad were together IRL
If you're a history nut, you will be pleased by the aesthetic of the film. Besides
the story, I was completely enamored by the costume design and the makeup. I duno, its such a poignant little film. It met every expectation and more. I was
definitely sobbing by those end scenes...so touching. I think Cate, Taraj, and the makeup team should definitely get some GG/Oscar nods.
Cap I think you will like it and Happy Birthday You're going to be shocked and drooling from Brad's transformation by the end.

Cate, Brad and Tilda Swinton did amazing jobs in this. I think I'm the only one who didn't really like Taraji's performance. Something about it
irked me. I think all of the supporting characters were really wonderful, though.
The make-up/SFX people definitely deserve awards. I don't know how they did it but Brad looked like his Thelma and Louise days again. |

It definitely went above my expectations. Brad, oh my god. I gasped when he came in as his younger self. Gorgeous could not define it.

I thought Brad was amazing. Especially when he was older and uglier, because he wasn't distracting me with his good looks.
He was very endearing in
the beginning. Cate was good, but nothing she hadn't done before. Her character was probably my least favorite in the movie though.

I loved it, it was truly a beautiful film and I can think of several people that should be getting an award.
I normally don't think Cate is pretty the red hair and deep blue eyes really suit her. Brad's peformance was very quiet and understated but I thought he was perfect and if he doesn't win or at the very least is nominated for an Oscar I will be shocked because he deserves. On a shallow note I almost slid out my chair when Brad got of that car and was walking towards the hospital in Paris however I wasn't the only one. There were three older ladies sitting next to me(all of them at least in their sixties) and when Brad got of that car one of them yelled out, "holy hell he looks good" and then some women way in the front yelled out, "I know that's right." Needless to say I had a whole bunch of horny bitches in my theater

Babygurl, everyone in the theater gasped when he got out of the car and he was walking towards the hospital...and then they finally had a close up of his face,
and Daisy was like 'My God...you're perfect' and everyone cracked up.
I'm not holding my breath that he'll get an Oscar for this. I'd LOVE him too, because I think he was screwed out of them in the past, but I hope so! |

I didn't really know much about this movie but my friends really wanted to see it and so I thought I'd check it out. I loved it so much. It was a
little long, but that doesn't bother me when I'm into the story, and I definitely was.
Cate looks beautiful in this film (I also love the red hair and blue eyes!) and Brad's transformation is something to see. |

Once I got past the whole "he ages in reverse" thing, I wasn't all that enthralled with the movie. It was the movie that never ends. It just went
on and on and on. I'm surprised I didn't fall asleep. My sister felt the same. Our friend Ashley loved it though.
And can I nitpick something? |

Sorry, but I don't see what all the hype was about. 2/3 of the movie was good, and that was it. It was really sad at parts, and funny at others. Brad Pitt
was good as the old Benjamin, but as he started getting younger he became the Brad Pitt that I didn't like. It was great as some parts in the beginning and
just kind of bleh towards the last hour or so.

I didn't think the movie was all that great...I was honestly kinda bored with it. I didn't think Brad and Cate had that great of chemistry. I was just
kinda ehhh... with it. Maybe because I was expecting more? I did think Cate was better in it then Brad, and if anyone gets an award it should be her.
