I enjoy a sweeter wine like a Moscato or White Zinfandel. Can I mix either of these wines with anything to make them better to drink? My friend said she mixes red wine with Sprite but not sure if there are some other suggestions. Don't want these bottles to go to waste!

If they are cheap wines, I would either use them for cooking (I regularly use wine as a base for marinades for beef, pork, and chicken and to make sauces) and/or make sangria (Crate & Barrel and Williams Sonoma both have a great sangria mix that you can add to the wine).

That would be cool for the next time I host a party. I have a bottle of white wine that's been open in my fridge for a bit. How long can you normally keep wine open in the fridge before it goes bad?
