University of Texas at Austin-still working on my undergrad (sophomore) and most like I'll stay for my graduate degree here too.
What are you studying? My bf is considering their MFA program in Film.

For undergrad? It differs greatly since UNT is a public school and SMU is private.
They've changed a lot with everything as far as Texas tuition - they do it by credit hour now. Here's UNT's undergrad tuition schedule per hours for Texas residents (PDF format) - full time (12 hours) would cost you $3233.40. That includes all fees and other tacked on items. http://essc.unt.edu/saucs...radTexresdentonFall08.pdf For SMU, it's currently $14,715.00 plus fees. http://smu.edu/bursar/undertuit.asp |

I believe there's only one other UND student on the board and I don't believe she comes here much.

That's confusing. What I mean by "they do it by credit hour now" is that, if you're taking a full course load - between 12 and 18 hours - you
have a standard rate of tuition.
At UNT, the fees won't change at all from 12-18 hours. It's 960 something, period. At SMU, tuition is 14715 plus fees, between 12-18 hours. It's supposed to be to encourage kids to finish school more quickly, as it's cheaper in the long run to be a full time student now. |

Yeah. Going out of state will always be more expensive. Going to a private college will always be more expensive.
Even with my scholarships - I ended up paying several thousand every semester. It just wasn't worth it at that point. |

I went to a private school in Texas as well (I didn't mean out of state, I meant state schools as opposed to non-state which would be private). I worded it
wrong

MegaBabe, I'm working on my psychology degree, and I want to focus on social psychology for graduate school. Tell your bf to go for it! I know 2 people
majoring in film, and they always have stories about how much fun they have. I think MC Hammer's daughter was a film major here, but I'm not sure if
she graduated yet.
