I read a lot on JJB about posters going to the gym to work out. I have never worked out in my life. Anyone else?

I haven't ever been to one. But I grew up having stuff in the basement from my dad and now my husband does.

It's not like I don't work out or take care of myself

Going to a gym doesn't mean you take care of yourself more than someone who doesn't go. I have a few friends that work out at home, but I need the
competition aspect of it, so I go to the gym everyday.

If my gym had a pool I'd consider joining because I love swimming but it doesn't.
I just find it funny that someone thinks it's "sad" that someone has never been to a gym

You definitely don't need a gym to stay fit. There's always running, strength training at home, jump roping, exercise DVDs, your own machines at home,
bikes, etc.
However, it's kind of a shame that there are people who have NEVER worked out. |

I have a free membership at the gym but I don't go. I have two kids and it is so hard to find time to go work out at the gym. So I made a little gym in my
house so that way I can still workout after the kids are sleeping.
