I posted this in the fashion forum but I thought I would post it here just in case and because I'm desperate. I ordered these jeans online and they fit
perfect everywhere except for my belly. It's just a teensy bit too uncomfortable, but these jeans are the bomb and one size bigger would be too big, I
don't want to return them because they are so awesome, does anyone know if anything can be done?

That's actually not that mean, especially if it could actually help them fit better at the belly.

But People are shaped differently.... When I buy jeans, I have to get them in the size that fits my thighs comfortably, which means that they're loose
around my waist, so I have to wear a belt.
Besides, you can't lose weight in just one spot. If she loses weight, the rest of her body will likely get smaller, as well, and the jeans won't fit as perfectly, anymore. Sorry, I don't have any advice for tight jeans, OP!

Thanks for the help guys. My friends mother is a seamstress, so I'll take them to her for an opinion and if it's a no go I'll just have to bite the
bullet and send them back. God it's hard to find good jeans.

There actually is something you can try-- close the jeans and measure across from side seam to side seam at the top. Get a board cut just a little larger than
that measurement. Wet the jeans and lay them to dry, putting the board inside at the top--you'll have to stretch 'em to get the board suspended between
the side seams. When they dry they'll be a little bigger but you'll have to stretch 'em every time you wash 'em.

Macy's sells shapewear. It's a type of slimming piece that can help you slim down about 1/2 a size or maybe a bit more in your jeans. I bought a body
slimming body suit from Macy's and I noticed that I could fit into my jeans that were just a bit too tight at the belly. Also I was able to go two more
notches on my belt.
It's sold in the lingerie department. I paid $40 bucks for mine and I love it. |
