I thought the album wouldn't do well because of the minimal promotion. God the power of Britney.Are you be sarcastic? I can't go anywhere in the internet without hearing about it

Did anyone have any doubt it wouldnt sell well on the first day?
I knew it would be blow the charts, I was one of the first to get it at the store I bought it from, I went right when the doors opened.

The only promotion justin did for fs/ls before the album was released was his vma performance. He promoted after the album release. Britney has actually done
more promotion. Lets hope she dosen't end up doing the same thing that happened with mariah and usher. They both opened with almost 500,000 and both went
on to only sell 1 million in USA and only 2 million in world sales. Britney will have to stay on the album charts top 50 albums for many months to be a real
hit. She only came in at #4 in the UK. Take That way outsold her. Even Leona's album was ahead of her and it's really old now. I wouldn't get too
excited too quit. First week sales are just the beginning.
