Anyone have good tips for treating really deep, throbbing headaches? I've tried all I know to do. I'm about to take a shower-sometimes the steam helps.

Only thing that helps for me is laying down and going to sleep.
I hope you feel better soon! |

Me too, try napping for twenty minutes or so.

The steamy shower/Advil/Coke seem to have helped.

i nap. sometimes a cold pack on the back of the neck helps too.
advil liquid gels work best for my headaches. if you don't have that, try midol. |

I was going to suggest caffeine. Taking pain killers and a hot shower sometimes helps a little. That's what I had to do this morning with my sinus
headache.

I have prescription meds for that type of headache but while I'm waiting for them to kick in I alternate between heating pads and ice packs hoping to get
the blood vessel that's throbbing a way to normalize. It doesn't often cure the headache but it usually stops enough of the pain to stop the nausea and
the throbbing.

Excedrin migraine (has caffeine) and sleep.

Side note: could it be caffeine withdrawl? Try coffee if there's any chance it could be.
