I'm not a real social person. I guess I am sort of superficially friendly to a lot of people, but only have deep friendships with a very few.

How sad, but at the same time I don't think anyone should be so dependent on other people to be happy. I'd like to think that you can be
"alone" and still happy----just depends on how you look at your life and treat others around you. But on that same note if you DO do that I find it
hard that you'd still have no friends, unless you were trying to have no friends.
I have a few close friends and have always been content with just that. I have a lot of acquaintances that are cool too but my close friends are and always will be my close friends. Never tried to get them or anything, they just are. |

Since my friend died earlier this month all I really have left IRL is my husband. It's hard but my old friends weren't the greatest friends and I'd
rather have no friends then people like that.

I don't have a best friend anymore. She fucked that relationship up (literally and figuratively so to speak) in January. We started talking again in May,
then in June, she randomly stopped talking to me again. Oh well, it's her loss. I initiated talking to her in May and I'll be damned if I'm going
to do that again. I do have friends though.

I only have a two best friends and a handful of friends. I lost a good friend at the begining of this week because she blew a gasket when I accepted an
invitation to go and see Twilight with her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend (who we've all been friends with, with the exception of the girlfriend
because said former friend isn't over her ex). I'm sorry, but this woman tried to run my life and made me feel like SHIT every time I made a decision
on my own. My two best friends live 45 minutes away from me and I am on good terms with my roomates. I just don't go out of my way to meet people because I
am terrified of rejection.

I have social anxiety and I ended up pushing away all the friends I had before I became socially awkward because of it. Now I don't know how to make new
friends.

I don't really have a best friend anymore. I had a few in high school, and we've kind of grown apart.

I have one best friend that I talk to more often than others, one best friend who lives 7 hours away and I never get to see, and some friends from work who
I'm trying to become closer with.
I've been hanging out with one girl more often lately and it's nice to have someone who actually goes out of their way to initiate hanging out and it's not just all me. There's been a few people I've attempted to become better friends with and I was doing all the work planning things and I gave up. I do wonder what I'll do when the time comes that I get engaged. I actually had this conversation with my boyfriend not long ago. It made me sad because he has like 8 people he wants on his side of the wedding party and I could only come up with I think 4 for mine. |

I have a cousin who I am close to, and like 2 friends who I see regulalry. I have another couple of friends who I see once in a while, but I really can't
call them up about random stuff. I'm actually making an effort to be closer to some people at work. I'm always worried though, that when I have a
boyfriend, I'm going to tell him about my lacking social life lol.
