The customers. We are not savages. We live in a civilized society. People should know better.

Walmart seems to be the one mostly in the news each year for stampedes and injuries though. It's sick that no one stopped to help the guy, but Walmart should have taken past Black Fridays under consideration and enforced a ticket policy. |

I think it's the people who physically ran over him instead of maybe STOPPING's fault.

I blame the person that didn't teach OP the difference between who's and whose.

I agree with what most said in here: BOTH. I hope Wal-mart gets sued like woah over this. And I hope the disgusting pigs that came into contact with this guy
during that mess (and they know who they are) are haunted by their nauseating behavior for the rest of their lives.

jjb is so weird, they hate fat people and suggest they exercise more often. Then a bunch of fat ass walmart shoppers take to running and everyone hates them
again.

Wow. This country really does have a sue-everyone for everything mentality. Wal-mart shouldn't be sued over people acting like wild animals. Everyone
should have been held inside wal-mart when it happened, and they should be sued...and if that's too difficult just shoot them. There's no need for
those kinds of people in this country.

i think it's both of their faults. this happens every year. someone gets seriously injured or killed on black friday at a walmart. they haven't done
anything to try and prevent it either. i think they should start some sort of line-up thing outside the door so people are more organized while entering the
doors.

Uh. Anyway, Wal-Mart has had trouble with crowds at their stores in various cities prior to this year. They should do like the other more cautious stores do, using lines, limited number of customers allowed in the store at any one time, and other intelligent crowd control methods to prevent the big crush. They've encouraged the big rush/crush in the past and should stop it NOW. |

Both - Walmart should have had some sort of system set up where only so many people were allowed in at a time based on how they were lined up (let 20 in, then
the next 20, etc) But the people waiting should have acted like humans and not animals as well.

LostYoMind wrote:Yeah, I was thinking about that this morning. If anyone bent down to help the man, they definitelywould have been trampled as well. While I think both Wal-Mart and the customers are to blame, I'm assigning 51% of the blame to the customers. |
