Only ALL over him. Does that make sense? |

I loved it. Sure its not the best movie ever but its good for what we got. I loved the baseball scene and the one where he puts his arm around her at school.

I liked it, too. I mean it wasn't Oscar-worthy or anything, but I thought it portrayed the book very nicely.
Hopefully they will make the other movies and have a larger budget for better effects. The kiss scene was AMAZING! I will pay to see the movie again just for that scene! |

I picture the sparkling like Britney in the Toxic video too!
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I will be doing that very soon! |

Enjoyed the movie for the most part. Definitely not enough sparkle!
Basically, it felt like a two hour Calvin Klein ad- with all the angst and mope. |

Someone said it was the second song in the credits? That's disappointing. I was kinda hoping it would at least be the first song in the credits so people would hear it. Maybe I'm just the big nerdy Paramore fan though... and I only heard "I Caught Myself" because I knew it and was listening for those songs.. I told my friend next to me that it was playing and she didn't even notice. |

It was ok but I was a disappointed in it, I was expecting a lot more, and I hated the montages that the director did for the meadow and the car accident
scenes, she definitely wasn't good for the job, I feel like Catherine butchured the whole film.

I loooved the movie! I thought Kristen and Rob had amazing chemistry, the cinematography was great and I liked the music too (I was bummed that Paramore's
"Decode" was missing though). I can't wait to see it again!

I think if you went into this moving thing is was going to be a good movie you probably walked out sad. this whole twilight mess is like a that show you know
is like the most horrible, poorly written/acted thing on television and should probably been canceled after the first episode but for some reason you just
can't stop watching.

I liked the movie overall but I hated how choppy it was, it was like by the time you got engrossed into a scene they were jumping to something completely
unrelated. IMHO they need to find a new director and most importantly a new screenwriter for the other movies because the ones they had on Twilight fucked it
up royally.
I thought all of the actors were good but KStew annoyed me a lot. I can't imagine anyone else as Bella but all that head shaking, blinking, and stuttering that she does makes me want to reach through the screen and slap her I would just call it bad acting choices but I can't since she does that annoying crap in real life too. I LOVED Rob, granted I my be blinded by the fact that I think he is oh so pretty but after reading comments on some boards about how bad he was I was expecting him to be horrible but IMO he wasn't at all. I wish there would have been more moments where he was happy and smiling because he did that the best but I thought he did the brooding stuff good too. |

I loved it! I didn't have 'too high' expectations so I wasn't really disappointed like some.
I loved Jasper so much! Even though he had very little to say, every scene he was in was funnier just by his presence. Jackson really seemed to capture the difficulty that he was feeling just being around people. Robert went beyond my expectations. With the exception of a few slips into his true accent, he was so perfectly Edward. That first science room scene was awesome. It was funny but so true to the story and cool to see brought to life. I didn't expect to like Kristen as Bella because I've never liked her in anything else but she better than I was thinking she'd be so I was happy with that. Charlie and Billy's relationship was really cute to see on screen. I can't wait to see more Charlie stuff in the next ones. Eric was much funnier than in the book. Jessica was pretty much right on. Angela too. There wasn't enough Mike but what there was, I did enjoy. I don't know why Lauren was missing but I was glad to see Tyler. Far too little Jacob, but that's true of the book as well. I loved Taylor. He's so innocent looking and his smile is just exactly Jacob to me. Cannot wait to see him develop in the next movies. The Cullens were cast pretty well. I'm not a fan of Nikki Reed but she ended doing Rosalie justice I think. Carlisle was swoonworthy in that first hospital scene. Emmett was so cute but I did wish he had more to do, I missed the scene with him in the jeep making fun of Bella having a good idea. Alice really did have the movements of a dancer in everything she did. I love Elizabeth Reaser so I wish we'd seen more of Esme but I wasn't expecting to, so no disappointment. I think that's pretty much it for my initial thoughts, mostly on the cast. I want to see it again soon. |

Not totally related to the current chatter, but did anyone recognize the thick cable knit looking gray mittens Bella wore in the movie? As cold as it's
been here, I'd give my fuck buddy's left nut for a pair of those.
Anyone? |

I have a new pet peeve upon sleeping on it! I understand it for the sake of the movie but it was pretty noted in the book that Bella was running on a old
raggedy ass computer with dialup, movie Bella got an upgrade...lol

It had it's good parts and it had it's so bad you must laugh parts. It was low budget and a small production company so I wasn't expecting much.
Considering how well it did, I'm hoping the New Moon is better in budget and FX.
Casting was weird Tyler, Eric, Angela even Jacob not really how they were described in the book. I'm was not sure how the sequel is going to go over especially when Edward is MIA for most of New Moon. But after seeing how they changed the book so much for the movie, in New Moon Edward would probably be only gone a weekend or something. |
