My roommate dragged me to the movie much to my dismay, but I really enjoyed it! I think it really helped that I had no preconceived notions about what this movie would be. I'd see it again if not for anything but the amazing cinematography!

I feel like if you didn't read the book you would be like WTF about their relationship. i agree w/ all of that!

There were some things I liked: the dinner with B/E at the little restaurant. That's my favorite scene from the book, and I'm happy with how it played out in the movie. The first kiss in Bella's room was amazingly hot. I will admit that. We needed more Alice. No "Do I dazzle you?" No "I'm with the vampires, of course" WTF? Let down. Jasper creeped me out. The makeup was HORRIBLE! It looked like all the vamps got hit in the face with one of those cartoon powder puffs and POOF, you're a vampire, but let's add some goth red lipstick just in case they don't get it. Also, the "stunts" and the special effects were laughable. All in all, I just wasn't impressed with Kristen. I was semi impressed with Rob (but that's probably because I find him utterly charming offscreen). I had such high hopes for this.

Posts: 1677 (11/22/2008 2:48 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Block Invite Ignore	wow people on here are so nice about the movie. i was VERY disappointed. the directing was SO bad, and the dialogue even worse. the director never developed a scene it just jumped to quickly to the next. i feel bad for the actors, they got screwed on this one and had to go around promoting it like it was a good movie. and i can't believe THIS got so much hype.

IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 The best part was the audience of screaming girls. Someone shouted out "WHERE'S BELLA'S PANTS?!" Robert Pattinson was awful. He looked pretty, but damn they shouldn't have given him any lines. I thought Kristen Stewart did a great job of acting. The movie Carlisle was hotter than the book Carlisle I had pictured in my head. The baseball scene was fun, but did the vampires literally have to say "Grrr" at each other and bare their teeth? Seriously it was like they pronounced "grrr" as it's spelled out. It was SO bad. I had a great time though. The audience made it worth it!
