i feel like this kind of shit just happens because homophobes are looking for reasons to piss off gay people.

Good for Christina. I love that she's so outspoken for gay rights.

Someone on Headline News claimed it might have been the new Obama voters. Evidently 69% of blacks voted against gay marriage.
Yea Mormons have money, but all those that voted against gay marriage weren't Mormon I'm sure. |

I am still shocked that it passed, especially in California.

I am all for these people speaking out. But they should have done more before the votes was casted. Like spending some of their millions on ads.

I love that people keep saying. we voted for a black president, so why can't we vote for this.........The majority of people who voted for Obama, voted yes
on prop 8 here in CA.....I voted no, but you can't keep fighting to give the vote to the citizens, and then when they don't vote your way twice, you
can't accept it.

I read an article about how Prop 8 was passed due to the huge get out and vote drives that Acorn, MTV and celebrities were behind. They got a lot of minorities
out voting. Gay rights is not something the majority of Hispanics and African Americans support. Theoretically, they were hoisted by their own petards. Kinda
funny if you think about it.
