He was honerable and sincere in his final speech and I respect him for that.

i didnt really have much love for him until this speech.
sadly he had to play into a lot of things he didnt believe in. his pandering to the whacko right-wing republican base was insincere and people saw it. then came sarah palin. mccain DESERVED the job more. but baracks POLICIES and PHILOSPHY were more in tact with what people are thinking. i think mccain and barack are more similar than different but it came down to getting votes and mccain had to veer away from who he is in order to get the racists, the gun-owners, the bible-toters, the abortion-activists, the homphobes, etc. |

His speech was awsome, he said exactly what he had to say, it was kinda sad to see him almost crying though. Im so happy Obama won, you can feel a different
ambiance this morning all around.

McCain's speech was great. Really genuine and respectful. I felt like clapping when it was done.
