If I'm on a family plan and re-new my contract and get a new phone, does this information get sent to other people on my plan? Or does it just renew and
it's left at that?

I have a shared plan, but it's under someone else's name. I just wanted to know if I re-newed and got a new phone on my line, would they be notified,
or would it just sort of continue to bill the same. I had the access to the account and did re-new, but just wondered if they would be notified or not.

If you share with someone, why are you worried about them knowing you renewed. I mean wouldn't it be common for them to know this?

was spending money on phones. From the past when you re-new they usually don't do anything, just sort of keep billing. It was just a question.

Then no they won't know that your brought a new phone. But I do know that if there are any activation fees, (att made me pay 36 dollars it WILL be put on
the bill) so yeah they'll wonder why it's 36 dollars more.

And if you paid full price, and expect a rebate make sure it's going to be in gift card form and not from the bill.
