(Not to brag, but just so you all know, I also called beating the Brewers in four, beating the Dodgers in Five, and that the Sox-Rays series was going seven games...so...just sayin...) It was watching that ESPN world series "special" that set me off in the first place...how incredibly lame. BUT! Peter Gammons gets points for favoring the Phillies in the series and if I remember right 2 if not 3 of the 4 hosting the special are favoring our guys too (of course Krukker's got the Phillies' backs ) I STILL can't believe we're still in it...this is wonderfully unreal. I won't be home till 10:15 or so tonight, hopefully I'll get to see at least SOME of the game. GO PHILLIES!!!!

RAYS are everyones favorites and blah blah blah. I WAS SICK OF IT. I even muted them for a while. Anyways WE WON.. Hamels pitched awesome, the set up crew did their job, Utley was the MVP last night with his 2 run shot WTG PHILLIES!! Lets get a WIN tonight for MYERS!! and hope Myers has another AWESOME Game.. GO PHILLIES!!

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. our boys had a good start...let's keep this good momentum rolling. and yes, i was soooo sick of the announcers' favoritism towards the Rays.. come on! DONT COUNT THE PHILLIES OUT!!!!

It's there, I understand it's aggravating, but thinking about it will piss you off more. I feel confident about the Phillies winning that first game, especially because it's in Tampa.

I'll have them on YT whenever I get them uploaded. I was on Broad St. by Morris St. AMAZING. About time we had this parade. Let's hope that they will give us another one in my life time... the 1980 parade.. I was not even a twinkle in my mom's eye. haah.

Joe Maddon (TB Manager) said some really great stuff about the Phillies and how they played an outstanding game and congratulated them. He is my favorite manager of all time its sick. He is the most fair person in MLB (yes I know I'm band camping the HELL out of him but really he is.) 2. I wanted SO BADLY to see Matt Garza's face when they lost. But instead they insisted on showing Longoria. Psh I wished so hard on that too. 3. I was psyched you guys got to win on your own turf. That HAS to be the best feeling EVER! Congrats again Phillies!

My life has been so consummed by baseball this last month I don't know what to do with myself. I keep thinking I have a game to watch, it's strange to not be on edge. I went to the parade Friday and it was AMAZING. Perfect weather. I started crying when they went by, I admit. As did my Dad... I have to admit I'm really glad the Phillies were the ones to break the drought. Not that I don't love the Flyers, Sixers and Iggles but the Phillies are my team and there is something so special about them to me. Maybe because they have been around the longest or because the World Series is pretty hard to win considering how many games are played but they just deserved this SO much. Man I feel like I'm going to cry now...damn.

It's totally bizarre to have a season end on a winning note! I'm so used to any of our teams' seasons ending with a loss...I'm usually so pissed off about it that I need a break from the sport for a while. Not this season! I'm ready for opening day right now! And I'm also glad it was the Phillies who broke the drought. I hoped it would be either the Phillies or Flyers, but I'm especially glad it was the Phils. Mostly because they had alllllll of those losing seasons and no one thought they'd be the first to win a Championship. I still don't think it's sunk in yet that we won the World Series!

I never thought that I'd see a Philly team win a championship. Never did I think that I would be at the victory/celebratory parade. I posted some vids of the parade, not all. I have a few more but I have to upload them and YouTube seems to take ages to upload a 30-40 sec clip. I said 'fuck this' and applied for a position at the souvenir shop at fenway. A year later I'm working for Fenway Park & attending spring training with everyone else. Hey its not impossible people!!!
