Children of the Corn is super cheesy...it's not scary, it's funny. Or I think so anyway.

Watch The Strangers.
That shit made me think twice about moving to a house in the middle of nowhere. |

Of the ones you listed, I think The Ring and Children of the Corn are the scariest. Children of the Corn is a classic.

Jeepers Creepers wasn't scary AT. ALL. The Ring is probably one of my favorite movies.

Rent "Rec". It's the Spanish version of Quarantined and it's absolutely terrifying.
Also watch The Strangers. Another horrifying movie. |

I personally liked The Changeling or Poltergeist more than any of these shitty horror movies they've been coming out with for the past 10 years. I love
good horror movies but most of them end up sucking really bad. Most of the "horror" movies now are just gore films that use cheap scares.
Also: The Exorcist, The Thing, Don't Look Now, The Shining, the first half of It (the second half ruined the whole movie) |

I thought the Orphanage was just creepy, and some of the images kinda stuck with me and scare me to this day. Children of the Corn is more of a "thriller", not really scary. Its about as scary as Signs was, I'd say. Jeepers Creepers is a waste!!! |

The Orphange is really good but not that scary.
Rent Shutter, but the original. Good story and pretty creepy! |

Jeepers Creepers scared me a little the first time I saw it. Until the end and I sat there and was like. Really? That's how this is gonna end?
But I agree on renting Strangers. That movie scared the freakin crap out of me. I would definitely rent it if thats what you're going for |

None of those movies are scary, but they are enjoyable. I agree with the person who said Japanese horror movies are awesome.
