^ The Woodstock area reminded me so much of Vermont. I couldn't believe how many hills were there. Stupid, I know.

They are predicting 6 inches of snow there. It's been snowing all evening. Although it won't accumulate for long. It's supposed to be 15C on
Friday. That's warm enough for no jacket. It's just a freak snow storm. Enough to cause chaos in the morning rush hour tomorrow.

Changed how?! Wtf. I think my best year was soph year in the committee. We got so many good acts. That was the year I convinced everyone to get ryan cabrera
and it took every fiber of my being to not pet his hair while he was talking to me
I tried to get my bro to join and he refused. He's in like 6 other clubs tho. Who's running the show this year? Not beth, right?

Oh it def. is. Very quiet little town. Think of Stars hallow ala gilmore girls. A lot of farms, really small, tight knit towns. A lot of little restaurants, inns, family owned stores. I've heard of pomfret though! Never been there, but I have heard of it.sounds amazing and then I realize I have no money to afford to live there.

Too bad it was rainy though, it felt really strange to be back there. |

Holy crap, 2100! For what, Jorg right? And ugh cliques. There always were but it was more friendly open in past years. But that is when there was Matt, Beth, Tim, me, etc etc. I have our picture from the last show on my desk in a frame. You guys better get a good show for spring weekend this year! I might come up for that. |

I was up there the weekend before homecoming. My little brother needed some stuff and I was having some serious cravings for DP Dough. I think the hardest part
about leaving was leaving Dp Dough
And omg everything. I always try to
get in as much as I can each time I'm up there. I still miss the hot chocolate too. I don't know, the union must put something in that stuff because it
is soooooooooooooooooo good. I was up there in July and I got some the guy was like did you just say hot chocolate? I was like uh yes please. My breakfast most
mornings was that and a croissant from there.

I really miss the Union's food ....it was so yummy. We got some kid to swipe us at South for brunch on Sunday and it was a bittersweet flashback to dhall
food
I wasn't a big DP Dough fan but I know a lot of people who
were.

I know. I made my little brother get the meal plan with the highest points. And he was like what? I'm eating at the dining halls. And I was like no,
seriously. For the first month he said the food was pretty good at his dining hall, but now, not so much. He actually called and thanked me for getting him the
highest plan. That's where I ate I want to say half the time. It didn't open until my senior year tho, which sucked! Right? Yeah it opened in Aug 06
right? panda express was pretty good. As was the salad place.
I was all about the dp dough, Tsin Tsin (lolol) and Sgt. Peps. *sigh* And doing late nights at Friendlys. |

Yeah, it open in 06 I believe so I got 2 years of it at least. Butttt I lived off campus for junior/senior year so I didn't have a meal plan. That kinda
sucked but I would just grab food if I was on campus all day. Sgt. Peps was okay but def not the greatest pizza ever
It was just easy to walk there after the bar and on the way home
Tsin was nasty That was the dirtiest restaurant I've ever seen!

Oh I know. Remember the lines out the door on the way back from celeron/carriage? I lived on campus all 4 years. I was in North for Frosh/soph years, then
McMahon Junior year. Then I lived in the hotel, the hale, for the last year which was pretty frigging awesome. And if I could do it again, I'd do it all 4
years.

Really the hotel? What was that like, did it feel anti social? I was in West Fresh/Soph year (haha yes I know West is the worst, but the location was
good)....and I had a house on Huntinglodge road for the last 2 years with 4 of my friends, I loved it.

West looks nice now with the new windows! But yeah the location was nice. And the hotel was AWESOME. The entire third floor were uconn kids. So there were a
ton of people around. There was an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, gym, room service, restaurant/bar downstairs, our rooms had 2 queen size beds and an awesome
bathroom, and oh yeah, maids. And they gave us a big tv. I remember it was blizzarding outside and I was sitting in the hot tub 2 ft. from the door going
"ahhh"
And I had a full meal plan so south was right there.
And it was close to everything.

Yeah, those features are def a good thing
Especially by senior year
when you're over the dorm scene.
My friends and I drove past West and I was shocked at the improvements. They landscaped the whole area, and they even have a mini golf putt thing in the middle courtyard. Ridiculous

Yeah it was really really nice. My parents were like damn if we knew you could have had this whenever you wanted, we would have had you out of the dorms
sooner! They were ok with McMahon but were disgusted with North. And I saw west this summer when I was up there and I was like wait, this looks different! Then
I was like ohh windows...ooo golf. Better than that ghetto volleyball court that would always turn to mud. Esp. that one week of straight rain in Oct. 05.I was
also up there the day that they plowed the big bush in front of the union.

Yeah it always sucked when it rained/snowed in West because you'd have to puddle jump majorly. My parents were so disgusted with West, but once you
decorate your room and everything it wasn't that awful. But I was really siked to be in a house the last 2years, that's for sure. Major upgrade
