AMAZING!!! I bought some at Sephora the first day of my trip, and I am in love with it. It blends in so nicely, and looks flawless. Not only that, but after
only a week of using it I can already tell that it's better for my acne prone skin than MAC foundation is. It didn't break me out at all, even after
walking around Disneyland all week...and I'm sure the MAC would have caused at least a small breakout in the same situation. I have only been using it for
a week, so I suppose it could change, but so far I LOVE it! I bought the HD powder, too.

thanks! i love the mufe mat velvet but i have been wanting to try the HD one. Did you wear it with a primer such as smashbox?

I wore it with Smashbox Photo Finish primer, because I wanted it to last all day. It stayed really well, and looked good all day. I used the HD powder over it.
I never thought I'd really be able to use just a translucent powder over my foundation and still have it look so flawless. I still use a skin-toned powder
over my under eye concealer, but I used the HD powder on the rest of my face.

I'm looking to switch from my MAC foundation to something else. I've heard great things about MUFE. Anyone know how it is with dry skin? I love the MAC
foundation I have right now, love the look and feel but I think it's too harsh on my dry/sensitive skin. Any suggestions?

I have dry skin, and the MUFE HD looks good on me.

Oh, so Downtown Disney's Sephora does have MUFE? Yay! I'm sorry I told you they didn't have it. I honestly didn't see it.

Ashley can you list and give me a play by play on what you used as far as the foundations, concealers and powder and how you applied it all. Thanks in advance!

It's ok! But yes, they do have it. I was happy about that!
I used Smashbox Photo Finish primer first, and I just applied that with my fingers. Then I applied the HD foundation using the MAC 187 brush (it's called a stippling brush). I always apply concealer with my fingers when I do it on myself, but with a brush on other people...so I just used my fingers for concealer. Then I used a kabuki brush to apply the HD foundation. I still used a little bit of skin toned powder underneath my eyes though, to cover the undereye concealer. But for the rest of my face I used the translucent HD stuff. |

I'm really sorry for asking I'm probably getting on your nerves but can u be a little more specific like what type and color of concealer and what
color of foundation stuff like that.

I got a sample of the Matte foundation and the HD one but I only tried the Matte one so far and I actually didn't really love it.
Maybe I'll try the HD one tomorrow! I need to get better concealer and powder, I just have crappy drugstore ones right now. I think that might be why I didn't like the Matte that much. |

Hmm... this stuff sounds good. I'll have to check it out when I need to get more foundation. But I do have one question, does it stay in place or did it
wipe off on things easily?
|
|||

It stayed in place for me! I'm sure the primer and setting it with powder helps with that though.
Becs, if you want to stick with drugstore concealer, you should try Physician's Formula! It's kind of expensive for a drugstore brand, but I think it's really good. |

does the foundation work on oily skin as well?

I would assume so, but I don't know. I'm sure it would with a primer and powder.

Thanks for the suggestion, Scarlet! Mine's kinda old and almost gone so I'll need a new one soon anyway...is there a specific Physicians Formula one
that's good?

Anybody know if this is oil-free?

I don't know the names...but I liked the concealer duo, with the skintone color and the yellow concealer. They also make concealer sticks, which are pretty
good. I like the ones in the white tube, not the ones in the black tube. The ones in the black tube seem kind of oily.

i know this if off topic but which primer did you say was best for eyes?

Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP). I use MAC paint pots over that a lot of the time.
