Nope. All myth and allegory. To put it respectfully, it is bullshit to me.

Just to add to this, how I look at it...A Noachian deluge is scientifically impossible. Since I believe in Earth science at all, I just cannot can't
believe the story of Noah's ark. It makes absolutely no sense to me.

Um. Jesus was the "son of God". People worship him like he is God. They also ripped off his story from other people.

Dammit, I have get to school and I will miss this religion thread which is stuff like to debate in.
Ho, you keep this thread alive and popping and just keep riling them up like you do best. So when I get back, I can read the debate and provide inputs. |

I believe there could have been a guy who lived around that time named Noah. I can even believe he built a boat. That's about as far as I get, though.

There has been an ark found. Whether or not that was"Noah"'s ark is yet to be found. Do I believe an ark exists, yes. Do I believe in the story
of Noah's Ark (or any bible stories), no.

Ho wrote:When I watched the video I was trying not to believe it but I mean its hard when the proof is there. The whole thing about Jesus always confused me. Virgins cannot get pregnant. From what I saw on tv (I watch History Channel way too much lol) Mary was sent away before she was with Joseph but she was already promised to be his wife. She had sex & conjured up a story about an angel visiting her & blah blah. Back then people would believe others when they said they spoke to God. Nowadays people are either lieing about it or are proven to have mental issues. I also feel that a lot of people were schizophrenic & heard voices but its not like they knew they had a mental disorder back then. Ok I'm going off topic & just going on & on. |

Suz, you need to see Bill Mahers movie Religulous! It's really good.
It baffles me that the majority of our country believes in a fairy tale. |
