We have received inside info about JC's role in "Kerosene Cowboys" from Randy Arrington who wrote "Kerosene Cowboys: Manning the Spare" novel. The major motion picture is based on his book. Thank you, Randy! "JC Chasez is playing one of the squadron pilots, exactly which one has not been determined yet. But the part is a major co-starring role and you will absolutely adore him in it, I promise. I will fill you in on some of the behind the scenes activities as we progress through the filiming process. it was also added filming doesn't begin until january 2009, so if he has a big role dance crew should be interesting.... A couple years ago there was something about him seeing an acting coach. He's got great facial expressions and whatnot. I think he's going to be better at the acting thing than most think. He was pretty funny on MMC and Emerald Cove and it's now 15 years later. He's matured. I'm not worried about his acting actually.

What I think is funny is that dude says we'll absolutely adore him in the role, even though he doesn't know what role it'll be . Maybe he did a bunch of awesome readings ?

I also remember him talking about acting lessons/coaching etc. Tom Hanks was on a t.v. show called Busom Buddies back in the day, a silly comedy, before he became a successful serious actor. And I am old, so I remember when they said Tom Hanks??? a serious actor???? So, you never know. I think JC has a lot of potential.

I would think he had to audition so he much be good enough for a costarring role. JC has working on his acting by taking small roles and if he thinks he's ready for a big role then he must be. He doesn't half ass anything IMO.

He doesn't half ass anything IMO. I agree with this completely. He's a perfectionist and that's what acting is all about. The devil's in the details. He also has a killer work ethic. It could just be that he wants to do something beyond music now, something for himself. I wish him luck.

It's not like it has an 'Armageddon' big movie budget. He can't improve (if that's his goal) unless he gets out there. I'm excited for him and I'll probably see it... maybe not in the theater but i will see it.

I don't know that a 12 and a half hour flight back from Russia for a day of Dance Crew and then flying back would be worth it, or even possible... But that's even if they're doing any filming with the actors in Russia, it could just be all scenery shots.

I think 3 will be the last Dance Crew anyway, and even if they do a 4 it looks like he may be too busy to participate.

By the time January rolls around, I think it will have lost momentum. I am betting 3 will be the last, or 4 will limp along and die a slow, painful death.
