Bunch of high scoring games last night, clearly in need of bigger nets.
Theo got pulled in his first start as a Cap, amazing how he can still play so much smaller than he actually is. Terrible debut. |

I am NOT going to mention the score of the Leafs game right now. lol
I was just reading online that Clint Malarchuk shot himself in the chin with a rifle. That guy has bad luck! He's ok though. http://sports.aol.ca/arti...s-self-accidently/375634/ |

Who kidnapped the Stars and replaced them with an iLeague team?

Favorite part of the Preds/Stars game tonight: Preds had a player, Alexander Radulov that left Nashville to play in Russia. Still had one year on his contract
in Nashville, so it's been in a lot of hockey talk here.
Tonight someone had a huge sign they draped over the side of the second bowl that had a drawn picture of Palin and it said, "I can see Radulov from my house!" |

Our PP was crap in Buffalo and it's had an overhaul, Cherry needs to STFU about whichever unit we have on late. Kostopoulos was out there at some point,
obviously he's a huge point producer or something.

Well it was pretty clear which team in the Flyers Rangers game had already been playing games for a week. I still can't believe Richards didn't score
on that one that hit the post. It seems the Rangers are going to have a lot better team than I had given them credit for. Should be a very competitive
division.

kwatte wrote:Dude, this was all my friend and I kept talking about. I think it's ridiculously unfair that they allowed that to happen with the schedule. No team should open their season against a team that already has 3 games under its belt. It was a huge advantage for the Rangers. I actually thought the Flyers looked really good once they got their legs. I was proud that they almost completely erased that 4 goal lead. |

I don't know if I can agree with that. Yes they had already played 3 games, but don't forget that while they did have those games, two of those games
were in the Czech Republic. So they had that travel home from there. And they also played the night before they played the Flyers. They could have easily been
totally spent. And it kind of shows that maybe they were because of them letting the Flyers into that game.

LMAO!! Sean Avery already has *2* game misconducts. If he gets another one, he's suspended a game. Then, for every game misconduct he gets after that,
there is a subsequent suspension.

I'm back from white water rafting! I missed the opening nights of the Devils but it's all good. Looks like they did perfect without me.

Sad news:
New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather regretfully announced today that forward Alexei Cherepanov passed away during a game in Russia on Monday evening. Cherepanov was 19 years old. http://rangers.nhl.com/te...NewsPage&articleid=386385 This has been a terrible year with the passings of Mickey Renaud, Luc Bourdon, and now Alexei Cherepanov. RIP

OMG.
Horrible, horrible news. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. He was only a kid with a promising future. It's just not fair. And there are reports circulating around that there were problems getting an ambulance and working defibrillator. If that's accurate, then that's completely awful and this tragedy could have been prevented. |

Oh my, how horrible. RIP Alexi. I'm sure the Rangers will do something pre-game for him.

I can't believe this. I just read about his heart stopping just a short while ago but he was still alive. This is absolutely devastating.
