Slated to begin production late this fall, "Kerosene Cowboys," an action thriller about an elite Navy attack squadron will feature Chasez as one of the pilots in the squadron. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story is based on a novel by Randy Arrington and follows the rough-riding and hard-living pilots of an elite Navy attack squadron. Gigandet will star as a hot-shot pilot, West plays his one-time best friend-turned-nemesis, while Cook will play an investigative journalist and Gigandet's love interest. Well 21 and a Wake Up isn't finished yet and it's probably better that Killer Movie never see the light of day. There are things that are more encouraging about this movie: 1) We actually have confirmation from a reputable hollywood media outlet rather than just hearing about him being in the movie from him and having to dig up information on the movie. 2) It's action, which means it's probably big budget. 3) The rumored actors in the movie - Shane West, Rachel Lee Cook - are actually semi-known compared to the indie's he's done so far.

That movie has been tied up in an ownership dispute (I got the info first hand from "Heroes" actor Greg Grunberg, who stars as a DEA agent in it). The previous movie by the company went straight to video. On the positive side, if the movie is filmed real soon (and "Fast Glass" was filmed in a couple of weeks), there might be rough cut or trailer ready to be shown at the annual Film Distributor's Expo in Hollywood at the end of October. He already has eperience from that drum corp movie song from a few years ago.

The FG arial shots (without closeups) were filmed well in advance (Mar/April 2007), so that might already have been also for Kerosene Cowboys.
