It's okay. My depression was more serious so it didn't help me much. I think it's worth trying though. It couldn't hurt, right?

I heard it works for evening out mood, but if you are on any kind of medication, check with your doctor first. It is known to interfere with many medications.

But yeah, everyone's right OP. My apologies! Definitely do some research and contact your doctor if you decide you're interested in trying it! |

The only thing that St. John's really fucks with is birth control. If you're on the pill, St. John's can cancel it out. Besides that, I've
never heard of any neg. side effects. I took it for a year and a half...it eventually quit working.

I'm not on anything at all so I should be fine right? I don't go outside except to walk from a door to my car so that shouldn't be a problem....
How does it cause anxiety? I thought it HELPED it? Can someone fill me in? |

If you're really that worried about "evening out your mood," maybe you should consider talking to your doctor.
Or if you aren't in a doctor mood, at least go in and talk to your pharmacist about St. John's wort. I would love to conduct a patient interview with you about this product but as a pharmacy student and what I've learned about it, I honestly just flat out wouldn't recommend it. |
