this show was terrible! i think the show is better in New York City, i'm glad britney won her first mtv awards, disppointed for christina lip syncing, they
saved the best for last performance which was kanye, and i don't think i ever heard him sing cause he usually is rapping, he sounded great! the song was
good. this award show in a nutshell was too hollywood! wasn't even an music award show!

I think britney paid Mtv to give her the awards to mark her comeback. That single did absolutely nothing on radio and the video was never played on Mtv, she
didn't deserve them imo. Performances were pretty lame, I was surprised Christina lip synced i've never seen her do that before. The audience was sooo

I watched that show to see Christina perform.
She seriously dissapointed me by lip synching. What a hypocrite - lip synching after she has routinely blasted Britney and other singers who don't sing live. She's not Kylie or Britney. She is famous for her voice. She needs to use what God gave her, not become another generic electropop lip syncher. And what was with that cape she was wearing? She looked a hot mess. |

but Britney looked amazing <33 I'm so happy for her, totally bummed that she didn't perform, I wanted her to do a performance like Christina did (a taste of the old with a new song). However, Christina did not look like herself AT ALL and she lipsynced HORRIBLY, she was always about the voice, not the performance...what happened? |
