About 2 years ago I went out and stargazed for TIFF '06 but this year I'm passing. I cant be bothered to stand around Park Hyatt and Four Seasons
and wait for celebs. However . . . I will walk around Yorkville and Bloor St. and go shopping and hope to see some stars.

I went last year and it was insane - even just walking the streets was just annoying as hell
I went on Friday and saw celebs but never approached any of them cos you know you recognize there faces and you cant put a name to them lol Plus if there shopping etc you dont wanna bother them I saw some people getting autographs and pics with people and i said "who is that" and there like "oh i dont know but there famous " I saw soooo many people chase down Zac Efron's vehical as it left Hazelton Hotel (that's a huge hot spot for celebs this year) it was MADNESS .... I met Michael Cera yesterday at his premerie

I went to Holt Renfrew yesterday. BIG mistake, the place was nuts. You couldn't even tell who was stars there were so many people in the Louis Vuitton
section.

they will only attend the 1st screening - which is the 1st movie listed on TIFF site ... If you dont have tickets yet you can easily go down to the place and
go to the "rush line" to buy tickets ... They range from $40 to $250

I'm usually working the festival but this year was pre-book on other things and am missing out.
To be honest, I don't really mind as it is a bit dull. I did chat with Jake G. in the lobby of the Hyatt a few years back which was pretty nice.

My sister suggested that we go downtown this past Saturday and celeb hunt... I opted for going to Pacific Mall and looking at nice cellphones, lol. Which is
funny because I'm usually all about the seeing of famous people.

I kind of regret not going now because I'm working all week and now I won't get a chance to even try to celeb hunt.
I've been going to U of T for three years and I've never once seen a celebrity. I guess I'm not trying hard enough. |
