Seriously, she is in no place to be VP. She has a baby with Down Syndrome who will need constant care throughout his life, especially his young life, and now her daughter is pregnant and will need the help and support from her mother.
Come on now. We all have personal issues to deal with. Doesn't mean we can't still be professionals and have demanding careers.
So, have you guys heard the rumor that Sarah Palin's

I don't understand why people are bitching now. So the girl is pregnant ... now you guys are saying Sarah shouldn't have become VP because it's too
much pressure on Bristol? lol And then you guys are bitching because she didn't announce it sooner? Now THAT would have been pressure. Sarah was only
announced a few days ago. It would have made no sense for her to jump on stage and go "oh hai, thx! btw my daughter is pregnant"

We do all have personal problems to deal with and the president and VP should relate to that rather then come off superior or look down on those that have made mistakes in their lives. I don't anyone is thinking that what went on in her family is so horrible. It's that SHE thinks that it is! |

Being a mother and being a mother of five, one of those being a newborn with Down, are two different things. A demanding job and the VP of the United States
are two different things. It'd be challenging even without everything Sarah Palin brings.

Wow. The sexism in this post in hilariously sad. Personally, I don't give a shit if her daughter is pregnant. There are plenty of people on both sides of
the aisle that have had kids who mess up regardless of what they teach in their home. Even parents who hand hold and give kids birth control don't always
have children who use it effectively. I'm not going to use it against her. That being said, I was never going to vote for McCain so its not an issue.

Bristol could have had sex on one occasion...and she also could have been out having sex every weekend for months before getting pregnant. If the latter is the case then I think Sarah Palin has to step up and admit the difficulty in enforcing her program to teens everywhere. It can't be a "Do as I say not as I do" kind of thing. I anxiously await her explanation. |

How dare she preach about abstinence and then have a pregnant daughter.
HOW DARE SHE.
How dare she be human. Right?
If anything, some people are going to be able to identify with her more. This actually may make her more human and more like a "regular" person. |

But you would think that after her daughter got knocked up, she would think that there is a better way to prevent teenage pregnancy other than abstinance. That
clearly didn't work in her own house. It failed. There has got to be a better solution, right?
WRONG! She is still blindly preaching abstinance. IT DOESN'T WORK! Try again. |

I don't think anyone is saying that a woman can't have a career and a child. I think what people are saying is that the idea of a woman with so much on
her plate holding the second most important job, with the chance of her taking thr reigns of THE most important job is a scary thought.

Gotta love how they
try to blame liberal bloggers too. WTF is this crap. Nice vetting McCain.
It's so much pressure to put her under.
