I would just want to die
I was watching Law & Order and this woman was a vegetable for 11 fucking years and her family was convinced that she'd get all better one day - I don't see how that is realistic at all.

would you want to be hooked up to a feeding tube not really living or would you rather just die.

Oh, I thought you were going to ask what vegetable you would want to be and I was going to say broccoli.
I have no idea what I would want. |

Me too. This was kind of a downer. I wanted to be a tomato to start the fruit or vegetable debate.

I thought the same thing...I was all ready to respond with "green bean".
Um, I don't know. I think I'd want to be kept alive as silly as it sounds. |

I'd rather die. The idea of living in a vegetative state or a state where I couldn't function by myself scares me!

I'd just want to be let go. I've seen too much of that at my job, and I know that's not what I would want to put my family or my body through. |

I'd rather die. For me that's not the kind of life I would want to live.

Die so my family could move on. We probably wouldn't realize either way though. The mind is pretty much gone.

I just learned the other day that Catholics believe removing the feeding tube is Euthanasia.

Die. That's not living.

I definitely would want to die....no way around it. There's no coming back and regaining a full life after being in a vegetative state. I wouldn't want
to have to experience that kind of "life."

I'd rather die than just lay there.

I'd rather die. It would be so emotionally draining for my family members to just lie there in a vegetative state and never get better.
