I can't think of a single person I know from my college who hangs out with a bunch of high school educated friends. It is a class thing. College separates people into classes. It's just the way life is.

My best friend who was a year older than myself would have me write her college term papers for her while I was still in high school. So none of these people should speak to me because I'm no longer in their "class"?

Big picture, the decisions you make will only effect you long term. You're cheating yourself out of some wonderful relationships based on something that is fear-based. It's just the way life is. I am a Masters student who is currently doing the conference circuit, has a perfect GPA, and I fully expect to enter and do well at a Ph.D program in Fall 09. My best friend in the world has a high school diploma to her name and nothing else. She has challenged me more and made me think than half the people I go to school with on a regular basis. Including some that entered top tier Ph.D programs this Fall. What a shame if I missed out on her because "it is class difference and college separates the classes" Not that arguing with you matters or anything. Obviously, your mind is set (which...is a sign of ignorance)

I am a college graduate and one of my friends that graduated from a community college makes more money than me and most college grads. Plus, people like you that desire to eliminate certain people in their life due to a lower education level makes you seem socially ignorant. One of my friends is also an English major and he doesn't even talk like you. You sound like you're trying to hard.

He feels a more personal connection to his students due to smaller class sizes and raves about how we score higher on his tests than in the past. But I'm really so dumb guys, so don't read this.
