I think it is a brilliant choice. I think while providing experience, Biden does to me represent change. He's long been one of my favorite Senators precisely because I see him as someone who is more concerned with honesty than with being re-elected. He's much more of a maverick than John McCain in my eyes -- he's taken difficult stances throughout his entire career and I think he's a great symbol of change.

I also think he's more in touch with the average voter than most Senators -- he had to mortgage his house to send his son to college, he's not a rich man by any means despite a long Senate career. He hasn't used his position to become rich, like others in the Senate have.

I think he also shows that Obama is going to surround himself with people who will question him, which I think is essential for a quality leader.

I am beyond thrilled with the choice.
