I worked in a meat factory. There were a bunch of hanging salami, that needed to be stripped of the peel it comes in and then packaged to go to the store. We have people that stripped them and then it goes through a machine to package them. Well, the day they were stripped the machine wasn't working, so they put the salami in tubs and put them in the cooler to be packaged later. A week or so later, they found the salami and it still hadn't been packaged. By this time mold had grown on it. Our foremans told us to wipe down the salami to get off the mold and package it.
I refused.
Eww!

.... You know what happened next right?? I WALKED OFF!

I wouldn't do the same thing now that I did then. I would tough it out for the money.

pregnant and not doing it. I had had it. I told her that I was sorry but that I was supposed to get off at noon (BIG LIE, 8-5 assignment), made a beeline for
the elevators and was probably out of the building before she stopped throwing her fit.
