I do! There are some people at work who live on ES and they always make it seem like it's sooo far away. I have no idea about it at all really. I've
been in MD for about 2 years and I still think Annapolis is soooo far away.

anywho, what part of MD do you live?

Those things hurt when they pinch you. Kinda like this:

I'm in Columbia -- the 4th best place to raise a family according to Money Magazine.
Ah, okay. You're way down. Maryland amazes me that a state so small takes so long to get to certain areas! |

Yup, we put the net in the water with a piece of raw chicken in the middle. Most of the time we could get them in the bucket but every now and then we had a
runaway.

Haha all of these "crabbing" stories remind me of my bro and cousin. When we'd go to the beach, they'd dig for clams, crack them open, put
the clams in a net, tie the net to the warning sign post in the water, wait for the crabs to go into their net, and check back every once in a while.
I haven't watched the show religiously since season 1 but have any of the boats that are regularly shown on the show ever capsized or had any major emergencies? ETA: There are alot of fishermen around here so seeing the show has given me a small glimpse into everything that they go through. |

RandomA1 wrote: The only real emergency is when the electricity went out on one of the boats and they had to fix it. There was also the rogue wave that knocked the hell out of one boat. But *knock on wood* no sinking boats. |

There was a big emergency when the Time Bandit saved that dude who fell off the other boat though!
But it wasn't a guy from a Deadliest Catch boat. |

Oh yeah. I was looking for you when I made this yesterday!

But yeah, I always have someone with me to actually touch the crabs when I used
to go "crabbing."
